Gemma + James Highlights - Whitewell

The 29th April 2011 was a good day for weddings.  The sun was out, the nation had a national holiday and people were having street parties up and down the country.  For us, the the special couple were Gemma and James, who very kindly invited us along to film their special day.

From the moment we arrived we could tell it was going to be a really fun day.  All of there family and friends were such good fun and really ensured that this would be a wedding to remember.

The ceremony was held at St Michael's Church in Whitewell and afterwards everybody moved next door to the Inn at Whitewell to continue the celebrations.

The whole day was very special, with lots of memorable moments throughout the day.  We hope we have done it justice with our film.

Here are their highlights, enjoy.

Kathryn + Rob Diary Room

Kathryn & Rob wanted a diary room setting up during their evening celebrations so their family and friends  could leave good luck messages for them to watch back in years to come.

Everyone was in good spirits and definitely up for getting in front of the camera and coming up with some innovative ways of passing on their best wishes.

Thornton Manor in Cheshire was the perfect backdrop for what was a beautiful Christmas wedding.  The Christmas trees looked wonderful and the log fires were burning, it simply was a beautiful evening.

Kathryn & Rob, thanks for having us along, here is a short trailer to keep you going whilst on your honeymoon.

Enjoy!

Testimonial

We filmed Rachel + Paul's wedding earlier this year, this is what they had to say:

"Just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work on our wedding video, we are very pleased wit it!!  It was a pleasure to have you there on the day..."

The Best, Best Man's Speech

This is Rob, the Best Man for Tom at Tom & Ting's Wedding in October.  We see a lot of speeches but this has to be one of the most original yet.  If you are looking for inspiration, this could be it!

Wedding Daze

For 2011 we are very happy to have teamed up with the lovely folk over at Wedding Daze to help couples achieve their dream wedding.  With an experienced and qualified background in event planning and marketing, Vincent and Emma can help take the stress out of planning your big day.

Why people hire a wedding planner?

Planning a wedding is huge under taking and many engaged couples find the experience a daunting one. As an excited bride to be, the choices you are face with are endless. The wedding magazines (which you eagerly buy) are filled with lavish, stylish ideas with lots of lovely looking models wearing an endless stream of ivory dresses.

After the initial excitement you find yourself turning to the internet or married friends for help, and you begin the search for your perfect venue and wedding suppliers (cakes, dresses, flowers – the lists is endless!). Again here the choice is over whelming and the quality and style of suppliers vary dramatically. The thing I found most difficult when planning my own wedding was how to turn the ideas I had in my mind into reality. Brides to be need help and advice from an expert who was experienced in planning weddings.

I loved the planning process and with my background in events and marketing, I found I had a natural flair, this is how Wedding Daze, our company started. With my partner Vincent we started the company in early 2009.  From planning our own wedding we found a niche in the market for a male/female wedding planning team who could offer other couples a unique service. We are able to understand both the Bride and Groom’s ideas and ensure these ideas are put into the planning process.

What services wedding planners offer?

Wedding planners are here to assist couples they work with and make the process of planning their wedding as stress free as possible. Hiring a wedding planner gives couples a variety of choice. Planners can help couples find their perfect wedding venue, find suppliers and help with the general planning and organisation that a wedding needs. A popular service is wedding day co-ordination, this allows the couple to relax whilst the planner ensures all suppliers have arrived and set up correctly on the day, the day runs to time and are they are on hand to ensure it all runs smoothly. A planner can be involved as much or as little as the couple would like, it is your day and planners are here to advise you in the process.

Benefits of wedding planners

Wedding planners can be seen as expensive, but most people are not aware that you can actually save a lot of money by hiring one. Wedding planners have access to special industry discounts with florists, caterers, bands, and almost every other service that you will need for your wedding. A wedding planner also knows all of the options that are available to you, including the ones that may not be well known, which means they can find you a better deal on almost anything you might need. The information and discounts that a planner can provide, can easily shave 10-20 percent off of your wedding costs.
Wedding planners save you time too! They can line up viewings and trials. All you will need to do is attend and make the decisions. They can also help you to make hard decisions or suggest colours and themes when you are unsure.

Wedding planners are very well organised, and they can instantly give you the information that you need regarding anything you might need to know about your wedding. This organisation helps to keep you calm and stress free in the run up to your big day.

Not only can wedding planners save you money, time, and eliminate stress, but they are a shoulder to lean on during one of the most hectic times of your life. A wedding planner takes the problems away, and makes wedding planning a fun and enjoyable experience.
